Deploy with AXIS Camera Station Pro

If a site already runs AXIS Camera Station Pro, you can install Anava Edge from it. You need the Anava .eap file from anava.ai/download.

Anava has not yet run this path end to end on a live Camera Station Pro site. If a step does not match your version, install with AXIS Device Manager or the camera web page instead. The cameras can stay in Camera Station.

Install the app​

  1. In Camera Station, go to Configuration, then Devices.
  2. Select the cameras.
  3. Choose to install a camera application on the selected devices.
  4. Select the Anava .eap file.
  5. Confirm and wait for each camera to finish.

Menu names can differ slightly between Camera Station versions. Select only cameras that match the package chip and AXIS OS version. See Which package fits which camera.

Apply settings​

Settings through a configuration file are the advanced path in Camera Station. Use it only if you are comfortable with device configuration. For most sites it is simpler to push settings with AXIS Device Manager.

  1. On a configured reference camera, open the console.
  2. Go to Fleet template, then Exports, and select Download .cfg.
  3. In Camera Station, apply that configuration file (.cfg) to the selected cameras.

It is the same file that AXIS Device Manager uses.

Events in Camera Station​

Installing the app does not set up events. For action rules and event handling, follow AXIS Camera Station integration.

Upgrades and resets​

Upgrading keeps settings. Reinstalling the same version, or an older one, resets them.
